London wanted to be Queen of Soul to expand her imprint here in San Antonio while creating meaningful relationships and partnerships among a diversified community. She says the San Antonio Queen of Soul platform will help her expand her networking skills with physicians in the San Antonio area and become one of the many future black doctors expanding healthcare access in diverse markets. She says a Queen is someone who’s selfless and isn’t afraid to take the lead in tough situations when others aren’t up for the challenge.

London is a 20-year-old who traveled nationally and abroad with a military family. She was born in Tampa, FL, and eventually made San Antonio her current home. She graduated from North Side Health Careers High School in 2022 and then enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio where she is currently a sophomore majoring in Biology with a Pre-Med concentration. Her goal is to enter medical school and become an Orthopedic Surgeon to help patients find ease and comfort in their daily lives. Her parents are James & Danielle Keiler. London is the fifth out of six children.

London spends her free time outside of class as the Event Coordinator for the UTSA Black Health
Professionals organization. She has always been inclined toward health care and wellness and has been
CPR & First Aid certified since the age of 16. She obtained her Dental Assisting Certification in high school and enjoys volunteering with the San Antonio Food Bank each month with her church. Her hobbies include weekend road trips with her family, baking and free-range cooking, and DIY arts and crafts projects.

While the San Antonio Queen of Soul Scholarship Pageant is designed to create enthusiasm in young ladies
and help them to be aware of their beauty, perfect self-confidence, and highlight their intellectual abilities,
London says the process of becoming the Queen fostered an unexpected sisterhood and will allow her to truly represent her best self to her community, school, and academic endeavors in an empowering way. She looks forward to what this year will bring and the amazing interactions the spirit of Fiesta San Antonio will nurture in her life.
